About A Garden in Bloom

A Garden in Bloom collects flower time-lapses set to calm, healing music — the slow work of a flower growing and opening, sped up so you can watch it unfold. The videos are vertical Shorts from the YouTube channel Seed to Symphony (@Atrueflower), featuring familiar flowers such as tulips, white roses, white poppies, damask roses, evening primroses, cosmos, dandelions, sunflowers, lavender and zinnias. Put one on to unwind at the end of the day, or to rest your eyes for a minute.

How to watch

• The tall card in the banner loops the channel’s latest video with the sound off. Press “Watch with sound” or “Play the featured video” to open it in a larger window with sound.
• Tap any thumbnail in the list and it plays right here, without leaving the page. Close the player with the × button, by tapping outside it, or with the Esc key.
• The “Now playing” bar below the list lets you play or pause, skip to the previous or next video, turn the sound on, set the volume and jump to any point.
• Sort the list by Newest or Oldest; once it grows past 36 videos, “Show all videos” reveals the rest.

Good to know

• Type a flower name in English or Korean into the search box to show only matching videos. In Korean you can even type just the initial consonants, such as ‘ㅌㄹ’ for 튤립 (tulip).
• When the tall banner card scrolls out of view, its video pauses to save data — unless you’ve turned the sound on and are listening.
• If your device has “reduce motion” turned on, you’ll see a still flower photo instead of a moving video, and the play button still opens the videos.
• A little white puppy strolls along the stone path at the bottom of the banner to greet you.

Where do the videos come from?

Every video is the original upload from the YouTube channel Seed to Symphony (@Atrueflower), played in YouTube’s own player. To see more from the channel, use “Visit the channel” or “All channel Shorts”.

How often are new videos added?

The tall card in the banner loads the channel’s uploads directly, so a newly posted video shows up there on its own. The list below also checks the channel twice a day and adds new videos automatically.

How do I turn the sound on?

The banner card starts muted. Press the sound button in the “Now playing” bar or raise the volume, or tap a thumbnail to open the larger player, which plays with sound.
